Good news that we're still interested. Looks a quality player.

I suppose this would make sense if Poch plans to use him as a defensive midfielder. According to transfermarkt, he's been moved around between all of DM, CM, and even AM, but mostly DM and CM and most recently DM. Otherwise, between Mason, a returning Carroll who we apparently turned down an offer for in January, now Allie, debatably Bentaleb, and several promising youth which according to ITK even led us to be hesitant with the Alli purchase, we have quite a few players for the more advanced role in a holding two. If our interest is genuine, it would be difficult to imagine it being to continue stockpiling CM's, even if one of the above were to be on the outs such as Carroll. And this hasn't even taken into consideration the players Poch doesn't seem to favor at CM such as Paulinho and Dembele.

Presumably if PSG are signing Pogba then Rabiot will get even less game time than he has this season. He's only made four starts since the transfer window closed - three in the league, and two of those were against teams in the bottom three.

how good is he though, we should try and get clasie from feyernoord to partner bentaleb imo, looks the real deal or we have alli returning from mk dons by then, to be honest we don't need another central mid unless we get rid of paulinho and capoue

I think that's probably the plan.

Dunno about this guy tbh. But if poch sees enough there for him to work with I'll roll with it.

depends if he wants money or first team football or if we act quickly enough and not 23:59 on deadline day, hes a great talent and fills the bale void on left wing, maybe entice psv with paulinho or capoue thrown in plus 10 mill

He'll use him like he uses all his CM's.

Looks a good prospect and fits the Levy mould. Could be a good rotation option for Mason and Bentaleb. Seems similar to both so, presumably, could play with either. If we're not gonna get a Schneiderlin or Cabaye then I'm all for signing another Young, hungry player.

Cheaper option than Schniderland

I think the competition would be good for Mason and Bentaleb

Would surely mean we sell Carroll, Capoue and Paulinho (although I expect all 3 to go anyway and possibly even Dembele depending on who we can sign)

Not sure it would include Carroll considering we turned down an offer from Swansea for him, but it could very well mean exits for one or both of Dembele and Stambouli as well.
