That was enlightening

He must help prepare the food or cut the grass. He can't spend 12 hours a day watching players stretch and walking round the corridors

Interesting thread title. I heard Arsenal are doing a video with a similar name.

Apparently it's an interview with Mesut Ozil called "A day in Naughton's pocket". Should be interesting.

I clicked on a link called 'A Day in Levy's Pocket', but it won't open.

Really? I approached him and introduced myself as the proprietor of a seaside entertainment business. I told him I could let him have seven donkeys for £100 million and it was like winning the jackpot on one of the old style arcade one-armed bandits. Joe Lewis wasn't best pleased, though, I filmed the interaction on my phone as I retreated with my money:

Whats that about?
Why is he here for more than 12 hours a day? There really is absolutely no need.
Unless he is on low wages and needs a bit of overtime to bump them up.
Its worrying that he spends so much time there and yet we are seeing very little improvement.

The interviewer actually asked him "So you do different things with different players?" When are we going to get someone asking some worthwhile questions? Can't we get Levy to hire SpursManChris?

No doubt people would piss and moan if he worked any less than that. There was nothing worrying about it other than Fazio at the end.

Its worrying in the sense that when things are going wrong, the chairman/management might suggest spending a bit more time on the training pitch to iron things out.
That ain't an option here unless they switch the floodlights on.

The answer to the question "how do you prepare your training sessions"; "yes, we have a plan", makes me feel so comforted.:cautious:

In depth as always from the OS.

I don't see much evidence of these 12 hour days Poch is putting in come matchday...

I'd be very worried at any club where the chairman was telling the manager how to manage and how long training sessions should be
