yeah I get that and I hate them as much as the next person but they’re an irrelevance. I’ve hated united for a lot longer than city have had their time in the sun
Oh, I do know what you mean. I understand the thinking behind it. I mean obviously I don't subscribe to it, but I do get it. I would imagine you get the same red mist descend when you see anything United-related as I do when I see anything City-related.

Just fuck Man City. United are a genuinely big club who've mostly earnt their success, and I have some empathy for their fans watching the ownership try to destroy all they've got. City is a different matter. Albeit few multi-millionaire sports clubs owners have hearts of gold. But that lot are evil, pure evil.

OGS' press conferences make me cringe "I'm so proud of these boys we've come so far"... Errr mate you've just been knocked out of a semi final, I'd be fuming so defeatist, does this every time they lose

That was horrible from Stones. Gone backwards since he went to City. Villa somehow still in it.

Can Villa appeal to CAS about losing the final to a financially doped team that broke the rules? Stick it in for hearing directly after City’s one

This cup needs a revamp - it naturally gives the teams with the best squads an advantage, as they can rotate more effectively.

Smaller clubs should go into the competition with a realistic chance of winning it. I think that any team in Europe that season should be excluded (they have enough games to contend with anyway) and let the rest battle it out, so it's like the EFL trophy of higher division teams

Something's gotta give, this tournament definitely won't survive this decade IMO, certainly not in current form.

I've been saying this for ages, make it a competition for teams not in Europe but give them a European place for the winner, another way of ensuring that it isn't just the same old teams in Europe every year.

I’ve thought the same. Smaller clubs get a chance to win it and enjoy it.

Also need to remove the 2-leg semi final which is pointless.
