They would certainly have been considered the top English club at times during Matt Busby’s tenure.
And they have been the best supported club in the country since the Charlton, Best, Law era in the mid / late 60’s - if not since the Busby Babes era and the Munich tragedy in the late 50’s.
The point that you’re missing is that your opinion of who would or should start for us is irrelevant.
We have one of the best managers in world football picking our team and he has chosen players that he thinks should start for us. Nunes isn’t one of them. Nothing else matters.
