What happened to the Marcus Edwards links, he's the only decent club trained option and would be great wildcard. Two years left on his current deal come end of the season
Already relegated Sheffield utd last game of the season at brammal lane is a major concern. We lose those types of games every time, let's see what the new regime can conjure up
Werner Solomon Gil
Son Richy
Deki Johnson
If we want 7 attackers again next season we need to sell 2. For me that's Solomon and Gil, although I'd want to loan Solomon out to another PL side for the season.
That gives the option buying a top winger and striker with Sonny being able to play both
It was a foul, 100%. It's very hard to "be stronger " when you are reaching up and someone pushes lower on the torso like he did.
Next time we meed to just stick a player in between the two to protect Vic
Good debut for someone who's not played much over the last few months.
I want to see more confidence and ruthlessness from both Werner and BJ though, really attacking their fullbacks and using their lightning pace. Both didn't do it enough today
I thought he played some very nice passes, the most progressive I've seen from him, in tight spaces too.
The whole team completely lost control though after 20mins
Straight replacement for PEH in my view. He is younger, HG and more versatile. Apart from him being Chelsea, there's nothing to dislike about the deal.
Can we really afford to let Gil leave on loan, we are down to the bare bones and still have Son to go for the month of Jan. Who knows what other injuries we may get. Maddison and Solomon wont be back fully fit until end of Feb you would think.
He certainly looks like he could be a doku/saka style explosive winger. Stats wise he lines up with those two, he leans more heavily on the assists side though.
