Genuinely this is Harry Redknapp isn't it :ROFLMAO:

Insane volume of info though.

To sum up we are likely looking to sign either the Inter CB or Diop and one of about 3 strikers seemingly Milik, Wood or one other and should see quite a few outgoings. Sounds good to me. A CM who can pass and create and destroy would top off the best possible ever window we could've imagined but my goodness if we sign a CB and ST this is easily the best tw window we've ever had by a country mile, would be something like:
Hart
Skrinjar etc Diop
Doherty
Regullion
PEH
Bale
Milik or Wood etc

That would be 6 first team players + Joe Hart and pretty much all of these are very low risk sensible quality signings, compared to when we signed the famous 7 with the Bale money which ended up being Eriksen, Lamela and a load of trash.

Very exciting next few weeks and first time in forever I've not felt stressed and waiting for the inevitable let-down towards the end of the window when all the excuses come out about "we tried but it was too difficult etc", our tw already has massively exceeded expectations, add a CB and ST to this and forget Levy having the horn for Jose, we will all for the first time ever have the horn for don levy.
Cannot believe you dissing chadli like this

D1 is no Johnny tight lips that's for sure

Would love Skriniar or Dias with Milik or Wood. Think Skriniar and Milik will be the ones. Makes sense to do loan with obligation on Milik meaning we put the transfer over to next summer but get him now. Also makes sense for them as otherwise will lose him for nothing next summer. If it helps to spend big on a first team centre back then it's great business. If we pull this off then we've had as strong a window as Chelsea but spent far far less.

Reading the last few pages, please stop the puns which will get the thread closed.

Thanks to the team who whored overnight. I think we're getting used to too much ITK at the moment. Compared to such a tight ship previously this is very entertaining.

All seems positive re backing JM though which all fans will appreciate. Just got to remain calm when things return to 'normal'

Don't know anything about the Italian deals, but been told Benfica talks have stopped due to being too far apart and a failure to compromise.

Strange because according to Mendes they desperately need to sell this window.

It may be just a game of poker that will go to the wire. It'll be interesting to see if talks resume in a week if Benfica haven't sold any other squad members.

Think no matter which deals we chose/could do (Italian, benfica) they would both strengthen us considerably

Would imagine that's why the Italian deals have suddenly started to gather pace.

Tbh if our options are Dias, Skriniar, Milik and Vinicius then I'm fine with whichever duo we end up with. All good options.

Last summer Sporting were in financial straights but still refused to sell Bruno for anything less than what they wanted.

Portuguese clubs have a habit of refusing to buckle in spite of financial problems. Mendes is obviously very close to that but everything from what I know (people who know personnel inside Benfica) and have been told since living in Lisbon is that they don't make compromises easily.

I really don't see us getting Dias because they will want as close to 80m as possible, otherwise the president will have fans baying for blood.
