This would honestly reverse every positive thing we've done this summer. Better off keeping Dele.

He's literally inferior to every winger that we already have, and probably one of them need to go at some point. Makes fuck all sense from any perspective

Ole doesnt understand the tactic of unsettling a team.... your supposed to unsettle your opponents/ rivals by going for tgeir star players to destablise their best ones or to 'turn their head'... NOT offer your most overrated hyped bs player akin their own version of walcott ? ???

IF we sell Dele (not to United) he wouldn’t be the worst option. Home grown, Prem experience, wouldn’t cost too much.

Some are being overly harsh on him, he had a tough personal life last season which affected him. He wouldn’t be a bad squad player, just not a starter.

He wouldn’t be the worst option, but in no world should we be paying anything close to £30m for him

No thankyou. He's capable of the occasional moment of magic, but we have Moura for that.

Please no. This would be our worst signing since Sissoko. Bad player, big wages and worse than our current options.

We don't need another runner in there, we need a quality CB, a backup ST and a creative, technical midfielder as an alternative to Lo Celso. 30 million on Lingard would be 30 million down the drain.

Can have moments of magic but very inconsistent which is the exact same reason why dele isn’t getting game time recently, bit of a bellend off the pitch also, so it’s a big fat no from me.

We asked 100 people to name the player they'd least like to sign for their club...

Do the pundits still refer to him as young lingard? He is the british obafami martins, never ages, always playing and still young. Shitter version of Alli.

Actually a decent player, he would be a direct replacement for Dele, but a different player.

He is very good at keeping possession and his passing stats for a player so advanced are very good, he is also very hard working and has an eye for a goal. Good from outside the box. He is NOT a winger of any type, he is well and truly a CAM. Normally I would stay away from United squad players but Jesse is a good player, just a bit passive at times.

Would make an excellent squad player, but wouldn't make our first team too often. If we ship on Dele and Lamela, this would make perfect sense. Not sure why Jesse would come to us though, I would imagine he would be better suited to some team lower down where he will be a first teamer.

The strange thing with him is that he was a late developer and I get the feeling that he still has not reached his potential, For me he would be an astute signing. Though his off field pursuits would concern me, I remember the video with him pissing about with some of the youth team players, not sure if he has matured. But I would keep an eye on this one, if Dele goes this one might happen.
