Not sure if this has been posted but a poster on COYS has stated;
‘I have some information and am happy to verify the source of it to the mods (Nick himself knows where its come from).

N'dombele currently doesn't want to be here and is looking to move on. He is not making a great effort in training to improve his fitness and has made various excuses as to why this is.

On the other hand and at odds to what some may think, Mourinho rates Ndombele very highly and is actually desperate for him to stay, improve his happiness and start showing his ability.

My opinion after hearing this is that the reports and comments that have come out in the French media have come from Ndombele's camp/entourage to try and put the feelers out. One things for sure I don't believe Levy is willing to take a financial hit on what we paid last Summer so where we go from here is anyones guess

Well fuck him then if that's true.

jose saying he'll miss the rest of the season with his latest injury, it's been a difficult first campaign for him but we've seen multiple players come to england and struggle in their first season and still been a success (son included). hopefully he gets a good pre season and hits the ground running next year.

If the ITK is true then he's a poor "professional". I'd love him to turn it around, but it seems like the ball is in his court.

Maybe he cant be arsed to travel all the way up to Newcastle to sit on a bench watching the dullest football you’re ever likely to see from both teams?
Should he be the one to decide when he goes, where?
Any way, Jose said he’s injured, so he’s injured. No use speculating otherwise

What we need to do is a Coutinho like deal ie 18 - 24 month loan with an option to buy. This way we get him off the books quickly and give him a chance to resurrect his career and drive up his value in a less intense league like the one he came from. There is a player in there for sure, just not one up to the rigours and demands of the PL and a manager like JM.
Can't disagree with that

Just need to make sure if we shift him that we get a proper player in return. Ndombele has such a high ceiling, can't be trading him for the likes of Nelson Semedo or Samuel Umtiti just because they have played at a big club.
