‘Harry Kane’s white so he must be right’? They won’t have anyone left for the next show...
The gammons on Twitter will have a field day with that one. Doubt anyone else will give a shit though.

Isn’t he implying that the referee is racist? In that Harry Kane isn’t getting booked because he is white? I don’t want to defend AFTV but that was my interpretation, unless I’ve got the context wrong.
Agreed he's saying saka got booked because he's black, and kane didn't because he's white, thus accusing the ref of being racist. It's not a racial slur like the dvd comment, but it's pretty stupid none the less.Isn’t he implying that the referee is racist? In that Harry Kane isn’t getting booked because he is white? Could you explain so that I understand?I think in the current climate it is important to show consistency when it comes to racism. The Harry Kane comment clearly has a racist undertone and should not be acceptable. If a white person had aimed a similar comment towards a black person there would be uproar and rightly so.
I personally would never look at someones skin colour and use that as a reason why a decision went a certain way and anyone who does is clearly being racist whether intentionally or not.
Could you explain so that I understand?
It sounds to me like he’s saying “our player is getting booked because he’s black while Harry Kane isn’t getting booked because he’s white”. That sounds to me like he’s accusing the referee of being racist. Of course there are racial undertones as he’s talking about race, but that doesn’t make what he said racist.
Would saying “he’s not getting booked because he’s black” be racist? Or is it again an accusation of racism? They are pathetic statements, while using race to make a point, but I don’t think they are racist.
Anyone who knows my views, knows that I am hugely anti-racist, so if I am incorrect in my interpretation please let me know.
In some respects it's probably worse than a racial slur, because it's defaming an innocent man. The consequences of such an action could see a life ruined.

I disagree with this Robbie saw a gap in the market and has done very well for himself, he's been clever chosing a varied dynamic from his fan base & lets be honest we've (when I saw we I mean all fans of other Clubs) have loved watching them meltdown and tarnish the image of their best ever manager and so forth when they throw their dummies out of the pram. The arseholes are his pundits not him, he's a shrewd fucker he is and he's quite likeable for a goonAs has been mentioned that Troops bellend has made derogatory comments about Xhaka and is Albanian heritage before as well. If you film a bunch of morons for 2+ hours their real selves will be exposed. They are all huge arseholes with Robbie being the biggest for profiting off stuff he knows to be wrong and exploiting people like Claude and Ty.
Seriously?
It was a stupid, ignorant thing to say, but it’s not going to ruin anyone's career because no one will take it seriously...but it’s still a stupid, hurtful thing to say.
Racial slurs by contrast do regularly ruin people's lives though, despite also being stupid and ignorant, because not everyone recognised them as such, and plenty don’t particularly cares about what effects effects they may have.
So both are wrong and neither is forgivable. But I absolutely can’t accept that the Kane-based comment was worse than racism.

You're jumping from the specific to the general, which doesn't really follow.
On the one hand there is the widespread serious effects of racism in a society.
And on the other hand there is the effect of racism and the idea of racism on an individual. This is also serious.
On this second point, the way it plays out for the individuals involved varies and in my opinion is not uniform.
For instance, I could call Anthony Joshua a racial slur and it wouldn't have much effect on him apart from making him angry (bad idea!) and causing him the sensation of disgust. That's because he's a man of privilege, due to his economic and societal status. It also helps that he won the genetic lottery, as all elite level athletes have.
If I, on the other hand, refused to give a regular member of the public a job because of their skin colour, this has a massive effect on their lives; economically, socially, from a personal confidence stand point, etc.
Furthermore, if someone falsely accuses me of racism this also has a huge effect on my life; I could lose my job, have difficulty finding a new one, suffer reputational damage, etc.
All I'm saying is there are two areas to consider; the macro and micro. And with regard to the micro, it plays out in different ways depending on the circumstances.
But I do agree with you on people not taking AFTV seriously
We all say stupid silly things, some could always be construed as racist rightly or wrongly.
I liked Claude but doesnt excuse what he said which was clearly aimed at Son - although lets not forget up until a a few years ago fans were singing about people eating dogs and selling DVDs. It would have been far better if he just came out, admitted what he said was wrong and apologised. It was made worse by the story they gave yesterday and that just snowballs into a situation that becomes irreversible.
