Despite their form I don't think this will be an easy game, mainly because our form hasn't been great.

What I'll be interested in is to see is whether Jose matches up like with them with 3 at the back or whether he sticks with a flat back 4.

If he went with a 3 I'd bring in Toby & play Sess as the left WB for starters.

Ive been thinking this for a while. When one of our players is in possession, they never have more than one option to pass too. Nobody offers themselves up to receive the ball. Must be a tactic, but it leaves us looking very rigid and predictable.

Yeah it was your comment on it that alerted me to it a few days back. When you look at how static we are it's almost no wonder we lack any sort of flow. Like you say it makes us very predictable. If Ndombele was firing as we would have liked him to it maybe wouldn't look as bad in having him and Lo Celso trying to pull the strings and orchestrate things. It looks like Lo Celso is the only one capable of doing so. Feel like it we're going to continue to be so rigid we need another creative player in there. Dele and Sissoko/Winks, being the others in the central areas really doesn't help matters.

I really don't want to tempt fate, but this is one where it kind of leads into what David Moyes said last week; The more technical sides are doing better since the restart. I've watched Sheffield UTD a couple of times since the restart and they have been absolutely abysmal. Had we come up against them when we were meant to, I might have felt differently, but I feel like we can come away with the three points from this match.

We need to win this to keep on the tails of Wolves and Man Utd. We have just got to keep winning and hope those above us start dropping points at some stage.

I'm confident, we are looking more solid now. I think that will be the plan for the rest of this season. Remain tight and hope Kane, Son and Bergwijn get enough goals to win games.

I'm just starting to feel a vague sense of confidence and that we might actually play well.

Incoming ugly 1-1 draw.

I hate to say it and I'd love nothing more than for him to make me change my mind but I'm at the point where it's gonna piss me off if I seeing Dele starting.... The way in which he plays the game just represents so much of what I don't like about the way we play in general, slow and laboured.

Sheff Utd have been shit since they return. With that in mind I expect them to win tomorrow.

I don't think this one will be as easy as some have been saying on this thread. We've been given encouragement by Chelsea and Leicester dropping points, we simply must capitalise, I'd take a scrappy one goal win if it was offered right now.

Just taking a look at the odds we're actually much stronger favourites for tomorrow than I thought we'd be.

It's actually made me less confident.
