This season being cancelled and Liverpool not winning the league would just be the best thing ever. Better than my 2 kids being born.

I always thought this would happen to us and if it does happen to Liverpool I promise to never say the word Spursy ever again.

Here is something that I sent today to the mail section of Football365. I headed the e-mail 'Liverpool and karma':

"You may know the story.

The first division was expanded from 20 to 22 clubs at the end of the 1915-1916 season, with the plan that no team would be relegated and, as usual, the top two in Division Two would be promoted. A corrupt Arsenal director (who was later banned from football) was instead able to arrange it so that the bottom club in Division One (Tottenham) was relegated and Arsenal, who had finished sixth in Division 2, were promoted. He was assisted in this by the Chairman of Liverpool FC.

It may have taken 104 years, but if Liverpool is denied the title this season, the club will finally have received its karma."

Here's hoping.

Just heard If season is cancelled then Liverpool won't be given the PL trophy, but to recognise such a fine season, a one off trophy is being commissioned just for Liverpool. It will be called Victory and Recognition or VAR for short.

Don’t agree with the furlough thing and we’ve been rightly criticised in my opinion, but I take some satisfaction in the fact that a massive amount of Liverpool fans on social media have been laying into us - ‘Typical London scum’ ‘All about the rich and forgetting about the working class’ and even ‘What do you expect with Levy the Jew’ etc etc.... and now their beloved club has decided to do the same. I’m sure they’ll think of an excuse as to why it’s necessary for them to do it. Either that or they’ll wait 10 years and then apologise...

I did wonder how many clubs would follow suit once a couple did it first.

To be fair to the fella, it's just another example of Levy not giving a damn what people think and doing what he believes is best for the club.
There are plenty of other massive, global companies that have done the same thing but it's easier to lay to boot into football clubs.

No, I didn't mean to imply that you had.
I just meant, to be fair to Levy - to be fair to the fella. As in, he gets criticised a lot but in this instance, I'm not sure it's justified.

He is fucking up morale which is not good for the club. When all this is over do you think those staff who were forced to take a pay cut will go above and beyond in their roles that they were probably doing before the cut?

It's not just our club that it's happening at though, it happening to every business across the world. It's a shitty situation but it is what it is.

Had loads of Liverpool fans in my what's app group sticking the boot into Levy and Spurs last week and I kept quiet, so far this morning I've just copied and pasted everything they've said about Levy and replaced it with John Henry.

Super petty I know.

Some will feel like that, but a lot of people will just be happy to have jobs to go back to. There isn't a right or wrong answer to all this at the moment and we probably won't know if the club's have made the right call until the accounts for this season are released in a years time.

In all honesty, they are receiving 80% of their salary just to sit at home playing Xbox........no lunch at Pret or commute to pay for, no getting up at 6am to catch the 6.30 train, no getting home at 8pm - give me some of that!
