How does Champions / Premier league prize money work out from TV or UEFA/association, could they not give those out this season, void the whole thing and just keep it back for next season. Then start over in August as if this season never happened? Sounds too simplistic but just curious how money from UEFA, Leagues/TV etc is distributed out. After all if nobody benefited from any prize money this season then surely it's all fair ;-) Just clutching at straws to see if we can somehow hang on to our Champions League spot!
A lottery style roll over.

I don't want it to restart.
Much better for us if the season is voided altogether.
I thought it was voided from August but another slice of good fortune is that it's looking like no Euros, so no tournament no burnout the joy is unconfined.

I cant bloody wait for the Amazon documentary

They really have been the luckiest bunch with this year for the documentary. If it was released as a movie int he cinemas etc it really would break records even the yanks would be like 'hey wanna watch a great movie? watch the Spurs one in the movies'

I am shocked this hasn't happened when we were actually in pole position to win the league, it would absolutely fit the narrative of what has happened to us in our recent history. I do wonder though, if its all null and void then do we get to forget about what has happened within it and start over with Poch again like nothing ever happened, give him another crack ;)

what happened in 1919?
In 1919 Spurs were in the 1st division, goons in the 2nd. We finished low in the table but outside the relegation zone. The goons finished high, but outside the promotion places.
The FA planned to expand the 1st division, but the goons were below the positions planned to be promoted, I think they finished 5th.
For some unknown reason (involving large sums of cash in Brown envelopes), the FA voted to promote the goons and relegate Spurs.

THAT is where the hatred is derived from. It goes beyond local rivalry as they bribed their way into the 1st division at our expense.

But the FA has never been corrupt, oh no...

Then our club parrot died. Coining the the phrase “sick as a parrot” apparently.

If income is affected then definitely no incoming transfers this summer now unless we sell Harry , probably put some lower league teams in dire straits financially this enforced lay off.

Surely it would be the same for everyone regarding income. Could benefit the bigger clubs as small clubs around europe will now need to sell players to balance the books where clubs that are profitable will be in a better spending position. Prices should fall in the transfer market if every league around Europe is voided.

There is no way they can solve the issue without it having a negative effect on someone. As hilarious as it would be if they void the season and Liverpool therefore don’t collect a title, they aren’t really the issue.
It’s the relegation spots that is going to get lawsuits rolling, the loss of revenue, tv money and everything else financial that comes with a relegation, similar issues with the Chanpionship teams coming the other way, imagine playing a Championship season and winning but not getting promoted and receiving the windfall that follows.
Obviously a similar issue with Champions League revenue as well.
They really have been painted into a corner by this virus.
