Absolute sucker for pain and punishment - so let's look ahead at our next, um, exciting (ahem) fixture against Manchester Utd on Sunday 15th March.

At least it's moving on from thinking about whatever that was against Leipzig.

Do I believe we would definitely win with my preferred line up - no. But this is what i'd 'like' to see (there are no other options in some positions);

------------------Lloris
Tanganga--Sanchez -Dier--Sessegnon
-------------Skipp---Winks
--------------Ndombele
------Lucas-------------Lo Celso
---------------Parrott

Subs: Gazza, Toby, Verts, Gedson, Dele, Lamela, (Bennet / Etete?)

I've not included Alli as I think he's knackered - and he has the flashes of quality to influence a game off the bench. Same with Lamela - don't expect him to be ready to start again.

I'm also not entirely convinced by Sessegnon currently but we need to try and play him into some confidence or form - he seems a bit like a rabbit in the headlights at the moment.

Would also consider Gedson for Skipp for greater energy in the starting line up - but I feel Skipp is more disciplined defensively and will allow Ndombele and Winks more freedom to look forward.

Mourinho has said Parrott isn't ready. No chance he plays him in such a high profile game.

Only a matter of time before a premiership player or coach tests positive for the virus. Arsenal already in isolation and their game has been postponed.
Just cancel our game and this entire season.
Start again in August ?

Just grab the first 16 ****s from the front row of the west stand, with that jessy with the orange hood in nets, and see how they get on.

Best possible outcome is the game/rest of the season is postponed.

We're not gonna win another match until Kane /Son are back so ultimately it doesn't matter who plays.

Lloris

Aurier
Sanchez
Toby
Verts

Skipp
GLC
Gedson

Lucas
Alli
Sess

Would probably be my choice with the players available and knowing Jose won't start Troy, but again can't see anything but a defeat without us scoring.

If we play 5/3 at the back again then we may as well just take the 3-0 defeat and call the game off.

It won't happen but here is to hope.

I am praying for Parrot - even if he is not ready we just need a striker to give us some shape. Alli is not and never will be a false 9. Lamela and Lucas will work hard as always, but they will just keep running down blind alleys unless we have a focal point.

The defence mainly depends on who is fit as Sanchez/Davies could easily come into the side. Could try Ndombele for a reaction, but I doubt he'll feature.

I can't even motivate myself to try and think of a lineup. Just put out the least fatigued XI we have out on the pitch in some semblance of a system. I think might be the extent of what Jose is doing right now :ROFLMAO:

Lloris - Tanganga, Sanchez, Alderweireld, Sessegnon - Dier, Winks - Lucas, Lo Celso, Lamela - Dele.

Subs: Gazzaniga, Vertonghen, Aurier, Skipp, Ndombele, Gedson, Parrott.

They’ll probably start with a 3-5-2 with Martial and James, Bruno Fernandes behind them. They want to counter-attack, interesting as we’d probably want that as well.

Tanganga and Sanchez speed is vital, and Toby need to be really smart. Dier infront of them to shield and most importantly shut Bruno down (such a good player). Lo Celso centrally behind Dele, I think that is the way to play to get them to the best possible positions. Sessegnon need to challenge Wan-Bissaka, to get them willing not to attack down that flank in the same extension.

We need to be clinical, and we need to be sharp to stand a chance.

5 centre backs and a completely defeatist manager staring glumly on the sidelines, unable or unwilling to make a change after we inevitably concede in the first 15.
