I can honestly say I’ve not even realised that Kane was still injured the way the squad has adapted lately and everyone else is chipping in with goals and assists

For all those on here thinking we’d be alright without Kane, Sonny and Eriksen I can only bow to your superior wisdom
Is this some sort of satire?

Blimey.

He's going nowhere, imo. I don't think he wants to go either (pure speculation I know). If we are still in this position in 12 months then yeah maybe. IIRC we had solid ITK that Jose took the job on the condition that Kane wasn't sold in the summer.

He'll be gone this summer, but not before some great PR spin from the club putting all the blame on him.

True
”it was everyone’s wish at the club for Harry to remain and lead us to success however he and his advisers have been approached by Real Madrid and he has decided that he does not wish to return to the club. As this was against our wishes and not a transfer that was agreedMadrid will be paying us a *compensation fee rather than a transfer.

*compensation fees are not transfer fees and cannot be used to purchase new players”

Read the football.london article. If you people really believe he’s staying, think again. That was a softening the ground article. The club is preparing to sell him and use the profits to buy for Mourinho so they can use ghe profits from this season(minus Levy’s £15m cut) to pay for the stadium. It’ll last the summer until Levy sells him the final few day like Bale. The chairman and owner have zero desire to win things. That’s the bottom line.

Do me a favour, get a little notebook and every time you write one of these predictions, write it down in that little book and put a deadline on it. Then when those deadline comes have a look at see how many you got correct. I find it's a great way for people who consistently make over the top statements to realise how few times these big worry doomsday predictions actually come true.

I'm fine with this. Mourinho is paid to win football matches - top three highest paid coaches and all that. Might as well give him the tools to either succeed or fail, I mean, that's often one of the sticks to beat Levy with, and people want Mourinho to show how us winning, new direction football ... Seems like everyone gets what they want .. right?

(I'm aware this is Hank, but I'm trying to treat it like he is being serious otherwise I get accused of trolling)

Bah, like that'll make any difference. People who persistently make such statements just happily carry on doing it time and time again until one day they discover their dicks are for more than having a wee-wee and drop SC like a hot potato to pursue the holy hole.

Being ****struck is the only way out :D

I just really REALLY hope we get a good striker, doesn’t have to be top quality just a good competent striker who can play up top leading the line and chip in with goals.

So we then actually rotate Kane and heck, give him the competition of someone breathing down his neck so he has to play well to stay in the team. And if there the hint of him having the slightest fitness issue he can be rested.

All this players won’t come him because of Kane is nonsense as there are plenty of fixtures during the season (such as Christmas period for example) where we are BEGGING to have someone to rotate him with.

This has always been probably at spurs, we’ve had some good players but never have the foresight to add to them and seem to often try and get buy with bare minimum or panic react when someone needs replacing - for example we should have had players lined up to compete with / replace Wanyama, Rose and Dembele rather than waiting and waiting until squad then has a hole in it. And the centre forward thing is ridiculous although last couple of seasons we could and should have used Llorente at times with wingers either side of him (or at least bought him on for Kane around 70 minute mark).
