Results to an extent have gone our way this weekend, which makes it even more annoying that we've managed to fuck it up again. Dragging ourselves back into the chasing pack of anywhere from 5th to 12th.

The fact that Wolves, Sheff Utd, Everton and those pricks down the road have at least some semblance of a plan and way of playing is frightening considering how bereft of ideas we look. Very very concerning.

Yep those 5 points dropped could’ve had us 3 clear of 6th and 1 point behind 4th

its the general shitness of these performances that frightens me. I have, in my head written this season off. We have more chance of actually winning the champions league than getting top4.

Poch said a painful rebuild was necessary, he predicted this was what was going to happen. We didn't turn over our squad and now we are where we are.

I don't blame Mourinho one bit (though I don't want to see any Spurs manager behave like that in an interview........please stop it, you are the Spurs manager now, and not at Chelsea anymore).

This is down to Levy and some players who are certainly better than they are playing.

I hope Levy will now see that Poch was not bullshitting about a rebuild. Spending a £1 billion on a stadium to play in the Europa League is not so smart. A wake up call for the board I hope.

Certainly is telling of how poor the majority of this league is when we are still in a top 4 fight after how bad we have been all season.

Considering how shit arsenal have been we could be level on points if we don't get anything against pool and they beat palace.

We all keep throwing each other lifelines. Who's going to step up and go on a run to nab 4th.

It's actually a good race but also a bit embarrassing at the same time.

If Chelsea could find a way to win at home, then its over. Whilst they still stumble around at home, they are giving everyone else a chance.

Unfortunately we don't look likely to be that team to take advantage of it.

Points wise it is still possible, but after the last month or so it feels like it's a write off already. We have been second best in the majority of games since the win vs Burnley. Chelsea dropped so many points and we simply haven't capitalised. They have more scope to improve than us and I see them spending more and better than us in January.

Before Poch was sacked I would have taken 5th in a heartbeat. After the new manager bounce I foolishly thought we had a possible chance at top four if we build some momentum.

I’m back where I started.

I think that's the end of our Top-4 challenge today, unfortunately

No way we're pulling back 9pts

Shame, cos we actually played pretty well today

You can gobble up ground with a run of 4 or 5 wins at this stage of the season. Happens to some team every year, and it's always startling how much you can climb. I wouldn't bet on it, but it's doable.

I like the optimism, so fair play

Just don't see it happening...

...love to be wrong, obviously

It was hard whilst we had Kane & now it’s virtually impossible without him, we should be more concerned about making Europe all together

I would be more confident if we had a striker to rely on to score goals, we played well today but our finishing let us down & we are going to have to rely on our finishing without Kane for the next 3 months

Win 4 out of the next 5 and play like the second half we should. Then we have Chelski who have a terrible run of games. We could go into that game level on points. COYS.

It’s all good playing like we did in the second half but we actually need to put the ball in the back of the net & have someone to score goals regularly & I find that hard to bank on now
