You sure that's Jose who takes the flack on himself? He had always taken the credit when something is right; and it was always some other people's fault when things turn sour. Remember the lady medic at Chelscum?
Yeah, that one was out of order

what does he offer that GLC doesn't?
It’s a weird fit- in a Mourinho team he’d play in the number 10, a position Dele occupies and, given Mourinho’s own words, is likely to occupy as much as possible. If it was Poch buying him, you could see Fernandes playing wide in a 4231, but very much drifting centrally. But Mourinho likes his wide forwards to play wide, so I can’t see room for Fernandes and GLC in this team. Doesn’t seem to make much sense

He'd give Alli some serious competition, something he badly needs.

That looks to me like he's just taking guesses and he doesn't really know.

Fernandes isn't a priority, a DM is. If Eriksen goes I think we need to trust Lo Celso more and play Lamela whenever available. I think we need to focus on the attacking players we have for now. Defence is the priority.

I'd be pretty annoyed if we dropped 40m on him when we should be dropping it on a DM

Can’t see how he’d possibly be a main priority. Already going to have a problem fitting Lo Celso and Dele into the same team.

Fullback and CDM are catastrophic needs, Fernandes would be a total luxury.

He looks fantastic. Him and Eze would be a great place to start and wouldn't cost the earth. Then we can chuck more money at a DM

We’ve previously had ITK re Bogle being a player that we’ve been monitoring. Given Derby are a middle table side and going nowhere in a hurry, Bogle, qualities aside is the type of player we should be targeting. Aaron’s was tearing it up for Norwich last season but due to their promotion fight our chances of signing him were slim to none. Whereas Bogle is there for the taking.

Bogle seems stronger and tenacious to me, perhaps he's better defensively? Also, those power runs!! Certainly, if they are of a similar mould, Bogle would be much more attainable now.

and without simplifying things he fits Mourinho’s MO of strong, tall and athletic with the added bonus that he’s also young and has many miles left in the tank.

There is other priorities but I certainly wouldn't be disappointed if we could get Bruno in.

Hes absolute mustard and a quality character to him as well. The way he has acted during all the speculation has been first class.

On the other hand he’s 19 with zero top flight experience. Not quite the typical Mou MO.
