So why can't Moura be up there with Dele to give Kane a break

Our problem has always been supply in any case

Poch has got to learn how to spread the load on our players. As he burns them out and they get injured. We have got to become like city and rotate the team so that the majority of the players play around 30 full games a season. He also needs to learn how to use our bench more effectively. A bit like rugby with impact subs as finishers.

I think what's lacking is fluidity. So whatever makes that happen I'm in. NDombele and Lo Celso looks like they will add that. If it works all the players mentioned and a team will benefit.
Up to now space in the final third has been limited.
It's getting the ball down quicker that will open it up. See Liverpool.

I love Lucas but I do think hes struggling to find a role.
He's a great little footballer but doesn't quite seem to have a position, imo.
He's not really a winger, or a striker, or a 10, etc.
I think that's going to be the biggest hurdle in his career, and why he's not quite made it at the highest level or managed to nail down a place with us.
His lack of defined role was why he was replaced by Kane for the final.

In first proper season he scored 15 goals, give him time!

It's definitely a bit true. Not sure if he is fast enough for a winger or had the vision of a playmaker or is a true marksman. But is talented

Now we do have other players that are none of those But are not talented. No names.

Lucas is rapid, his strength has been goal scoring though over assists though

Oh yeah, I'm not having a pop at him, I think he's a great little player but I'm just not sure what his best position is.
He doesn't really fit any defined team role, for me anyway.

This from Lucas Moura
"We need to stay together, work harder, not speak too much and work. We have the belief, it is so strong the belief"

I agree, we need to set the tone that we are serious on getting back on track. Poch needs to implement interview ban on all players.

Agree, but as long as he plays him in the right games. No point playing him against bus parkers, unless you are going to play him as an orthodox wide man.

No he just needs to play, we're not in a position to be selective seeing as there are players who are picked who don't put in a shift.

Yeah I get that and I wouldn’t be against just playing him. Just saying despite putting in the effort he is generally not effective up front without space to run into.

I wouldn’t be against playing him wider all the time though.

Some answers needed.

1 who is better Son or Moura
2 what's Moura best position

1) Son
2) good question, because he’s not a striker for me, and he’s not what you’d call an orthodox winger either. Suppose he’s an inside forward.

We could do worse than playing a proper 4-3-3, with Son and Moura our wide and Kane as the focal point again.

I’d actually love to see how this lineup works, it’s a bit risky cos of the young guys/new guys, but at least we’d be fresher and have pace.

gazza
KWP Sanchez Tanganga Sess
Skipp
Ndombele LoCelso
Moura Kane Son
4-3-3

Dele can step in to one of the wide forward roles too, being able to drift in to the box from out wide causes the opposition defence a different kind of problem.

He's one of the fastest players in the PL, up there with Salah, but not quite as rapid as Mane or James.

Absolutely love this team. It's the future, imo.
