Erm, are we? We’ve lost all the momentum we had after the CL final, and most agents will be looking at the bad vibes coming out of our camp and thinking twice before moving their clients here. Add to that we don’t pay top dollar.

I would see no reason why a player would leave Atletico to come to us.
Playing time fantastic stadium and facilities great club superb fans when we believe. Tottenham is an attractive option also we have mainly performance based contracts

Ally Gold saying we’ll be back in for Fernandes most likely in January if Eriksen leaves.

His agent has said he would like to play in England, but my guess is they were eying up the massive wages a Club like United might gave offered.

We need Fernandes in January regardless. Eriksen should be dropped for good. Spend the money. We have the space. I think we could afford 6 months of wages for each.

If.

That’s not good enough. We need to get him regardless.
I appreciate you’re just passing on the message but It baffles me with our transfer targets , Dybala is another that is so confusing. If we are identifying players there should be a purpose and a clear plan.

Maybe Trippier could put in a good word ... :cautious:

Eh, I mean I don't necessarily think our attack is the problem right now.

We might need a keeper after today

No might about it, devastating injury for Hugo but injury or no injury he’s passed his best for sure. That leaves us with Gazzaniga who’s a disaster waiting to happen and the untested Whiteman. We need to make a new number one a priority in January in addition to fixing our pathetic defence.

Hope Gazza has a nice few months as our #1 keeper. Could really help clarify our areas of immediate need moving forward.

Is Levy going to put his hand in his pocket in January? Or are we writing the season off now?
The issue is about much more than simply Levy putting his hands in his pocket.

We made three expensive signings in the summer with no sales. Fans really need to stop with this nonsensical bullshit.

We have numerous players on their way out.

At the moment we have Alderweireld and Eriksen running out of contract and a manager that might not have it in him to turnaround an unhappy dressing but yeah let’s dumb our situation down to Levy putting his hands in his pockets.

Really? Do you not recognize that going 1.5yrs w/o any squad changes exacerbated the problem Poch has now? One big issue I think has been Levy's valuation of deadwood for the past 2yrs.

Whether Poch has it in him to right the ship is another thing. I personally think he does if given the time and resources (players OUT + in).

You really don't understand my point do you? Levy's valuation of deadwood does not mean he won't put his hands in his pocket. The fact we bought 3 expensive players in the summer without selling should show you the one dimensional post I was responding to was nonsense.

We didn't get offers for Alderweireld and Eriksen, one of whom had a release clause, how the fuck is that connected to Levy overpricing deadwood?

We accepted a bid for Wanyama but he refused the move. Is that also Levy's fucking fault?

I am not saying Levy is perfect but when criticising at least use a basic level of common sense.

John McGinn pls. Creative, scores goals but a real fucking hustler and intense pressure. Plays like he cares and leaves it all on the field.
