    Maddison has a long way to go to get anywhere near peak Eriksen levels. That guy was such a genius and a workhorse at the same time and super consistent always.

    I don't disagree with that, he has shown he can do it, but clearly not at the level we need. He's one who would be good to keep around on the bench and not a starter. However, no one really did well yesterday, so can't put all the blame on him alone.

    I think with his skillset, he could genuinely play a false 9 or CF, strong physically and also has good ability to hold a ball and decent passing. Not the best of finishers, but he can do alot of the other things really well.
