How amazing would it be going into the final week of the window feeling that we have done all our business bar potentially a midfielder?

Would be such a pleasant feeling

I'm sure I read Sullivan and Gold wouldn't sell to us again, after they had seen what happened with the sales of Defoe and Carrick. Maybe they are desperate to get funds in now, but I don't know how their fans would react to selling Diop to a rival club.

It might be the pessimist in me, but why do I have the feeling that instead of Milik and Skriniar, we could end up with Diop and Wood, which would be a real anti-climax and not exactly top 4 signings IMO.

Apart from the obvious defenders we want to sell, I just hope there isn't a big player leaving to offset the purchases i.e. Alli or Ndombele.

I keep reading comments online questioning where the money is coming from and I have this feeling we might not like the answer.

Yep, probably part of the plan as well so if a midfielder did present themselves, we would have the time to focus on a deal knowing we have all our other targets done.

Lots of info this morning, would be so happy if we got Skriniar.

I think the Feds have broken Dragon. He’s got a plea-bargain and he’s spilling the beans like a mafia informant.

Getting Skriniar and Milik would be a brilliant end to a very good window for us. Additional CM would be even better, but expectations may need tempering there.
Outgoings will be key now, I do feel one of Moura or Lamela could be at risk now Bale is back. I’d be concerned if we let Aurier go though without a specialist RB coming in to cover/compete with
Doherty.
The ITK seems to be picking up pace with these deals being worked on, with the media also seemingly climbing all over these deals now, fingers crossed because when they are in sync things usually move quickly.

I wonder who is the EPL forward wear after who is not Josh King. Only one left that was mentioned before would be Deeney. Scary thought

Diop would be a work in progress much like Sanchez, Japhet, Dier . Not what we need at the moment. We need a Toby at his prime when he transferred to us to help marshall the defence .

Chris Wood was mentioned before. As was Jimenez.
