They will still want him gone. It's not just the management but the owners. Sarri is playing him more our of necessity. Ideally he would swap him for a younger higuain and they need the money the would bring. Not that I see any reason he would want to come here but he will def leave ether Jan or summer.
I don't think it's a given at all that he'll leave. Sarri has changed his formation to accommodate Dyabala and Ramsey, so Dybala is going to have every opportunity between now and January to establish himself as an important part of the team. Early signs are that he's playing very well, and they aren't just going to turn around and sell one of their best performers just to bring in revenue.

The reason he was transfer listed was because he would have brought in a big fee and because Sarri didn't see a place for him in his tactical setup. The latter issue seems that it has been resolved, and it's not as though they don't have other assets they could sell to fund the acquisition of a new striker. If he continues to perform I'd be surprised to see him sold instead of other players, especially considering that it doesn't seem possible for him to get a move to a league that outlaws third party ownership of image rights.

Lots of good players with 18 months left on their contracts (according to transfermarkt)

Upemecano, Telles, Grimaldo, Berge, Badiashile, Sarr, Lafont to name just a few.

Might be worth trying to tempt their clubs to sell in Jan rather than risk them running down their contracts.

Would like Telles or Grimaldo but it depends what we do with Sessegnon. Lafont could be a decent buy as well.

Pick of the bunch for our needs Upamecano, Sarr, Grimaldo, Weigl and Sangare. Lafont would be very interesting too.

Not keen on the RB options from the little I’ve seen of them.

He has tried a two up top with Ronaldo and Dybala it's true, with bernardeschi behind, but it was still a big surprise he started against Inter. Sarri in general prefers his 433 and he would also prefer a more stable striker alongside Ronaldo as together they roam too much and he likes a target man. Of course no transfer is a given but Dybala is not yet a guarantied starter. And there is also the fact that the people above Sarri are not massive fans ether. Of course he could play his way into staying, but his quality was never in doubt, even despite his dodgy last season. It's irrelevant anyway as we have zero chance of getting him now. It is a great shame as I think his skill set would add a lot to our attack. I still find it crazy that we almost bought a player of his status.

Why, we have a player on our books who's better than Dybala!

Just noticed that Eberechi Eze is also out of contract 2021. Think he would be a really astute signing

given all of our current attacking options bar son prefer to play centrally then surely targeting a wide player would make more sense.

Maybe it is a good time to be rebuilding a defence after all! Think we would need to bring in at least one homegrown player in there for the balance of the squad, though.

Isn't Badisashile one of the highest rated young centre backs in world football, higher than his compatriot Saliba? Never seen him play but heard his name a few time in such discussions. If that is true, then him and Upamencano would be a very intriguing double centre back singing, or Ginter too, infact there's a bunch of options there.

He’s physically more imposing than Saliba, 6’4” tall and very pacey for his size. Not as polished a ball player, though.

An actual wing forward in the Sterling/Sancho/Sane/Salah/Mané effective mould would be great. But the great are few and far between.

No point considering we seem to play like the pitch is only as wide as the 18 yard box unfortunately

Ever Banaga maybe? We need an old wise head that isn’t afraid to get stuck in, also to show a bit of leadership, Argentinian too. ?
