I can't imagine getting rid of Poch and I'd want him to stay and turn it around... But the conundrum is.. Once the rot sets in, its usually only stopped by a change of manager I can't think of any recent examples when a manager has turned it around. At best they just limp on.

Agree with this. Rodgers is doing well now having been sacked by Liverpool. Good manager just not as good as klopp. Hard to know if poch is as good as we can get when we have Levy as chairman or if there's another coach out there who could get us challenging

Easy for him to pass the buck. The midfield was finished after 30 minutes because of the stupid way he set up. Our legs were gone, but I don't think it was from a lack of effort. We have a few lazy players, but they were lazy before the season.

Watch the last 5 mins of that match, the players definitely gave up, same for today - BT Sport just showed our players hiding and not wanting the ball, they've stopped trying and playing for him.

Jenas speaking about reasons why Verts, Toby, Rose, Eriksen, etc. could be demotivated (i.e. contract/loyalty/commitment related issues, the club not showing them love)

Wonder how much he knows from his inside contacts, about what's really happening, and whether he's trying to allude to the core problem... OR if he's simply speculating like all of us

I’ve reached that stage in life/age now where rather than getting over a game like this by going out and getting pissed and having a mad one, I’m actually off out to a garden centre to buy a new bird bath and have some cake.
Sounds heavenly to me ??

BT just showed a great clip lowlights - although I thought it could have been a much longer - say 85 minutes or thereabouts

At this point I just want to see if anyone on here truly thinks Poch can turn it around, or will they log back in a few days time?
I do.
But he needs to stop playing the rotten defence.
He might feel like his hands are tied but I would genuinely rather play Sanchez and Foyth KWP and Sessegnon or youth players than any of the ones who get to start.

The positives: Moura (he needs a run in the team now), Winks made up for the Bayern debacle and Sissoko can play RB better than any of our RBs. And it can’t get worse than this... surely!!!????? This has to be rock bottom.

Rock bottom was when Sherwood was in charge

How did he do in year 2 and 3? He also does it playing boring football. First signing will be Fellaini to play top front.

Finished 2nd - it was in the post you quoted.

There seems to always been a weird blindness towards football managers by fans.

Mourinho used Fellaini up front to get goals when they needed them. It worked more often than not. He didn't sign him, he used what he had available to the best effect. Something everyone has been pulling Poch up on.
