Just had this come up on my twitter feed. Nice to see another young lad get on the pitch and nice to have players that talk as if they were fans when interviewed. I hope we get to see a lot more of the academy and this lad in the coming years.

Also couldn't help but laugh when Winks said "the manager said just get on their and run about, try and get into the game."

YIDO YIDO, good luck lad!

Lol Poch's been watching 'the best of Harry Redknapp' hasn't he. He'll be talking out of car windows next.

Chuffed for Harry Winks.

As he was given only 5 minutes, there was nothing else Poch needed from him but to run around and close people down, amd help see out the game. Showed a lot of energy but then he new he only had 5 minutes.

He looked about 12 when he came on. Looks like something out of One Direction.

What position does he play? Apart from 'run about in the middle' I mean?

Good to see another youngster get a run out. Hope he makes it

With the new stadium on the horizon and our net spend over the last God knows how many transfer windows we really need some of these boys to come off

We are still desperate for help for Kane in the striker department and this needs to be resolved in the summer if not before

Interesting Redknapp got slaughtered for this, I doubt people will say the same about poch

IMO nothing wrong with what either manager said tbh

He did also mention about pressing to be fair to Poch. End of the day I don't care what the manager says to a player as long as it works... Harry was a good manager for us and what he did worked, no one can say it didn't.

Famous last words.

I hope this doesn't open up another Redknapp debate, because frankly there are a hell of a lot of people who would say it didnt.

Wish he'd gotten more of a run out
I thought it was refreshing that the three subs we made were young players that came straight from our academy.

Even better that they came on regardless of the tight 1-0 scoreline. I'm so used to managers waiting until we were 3-0 up and the other team had gone home.

There's a difference between saying it when you throw a teen on for his debut with 5 minutes to go, and when it's your sole team tactic though haha

I agree but he said it to pav when he was going on.

I doubt that was his team tactic, he normally leaves the tactics to somebody else
