To all those complaining about other clubs fans creating a hostile atmosphere and getting on the refs and players backs...

Surly that's what you're meant to do.

Some teams' fans do take it too far, but we definitely need to up the ante at WHL. Remember a Man U-game a couple of years ago where we really got at the ref and their players and it resulted in the ref waving away what should probably have been a penalty to Rooney at one point. I have no doubt that it was the atmosphere that tipped the decision our way.

From Saints on Morgan and Jay
Spurs ffs. A Champions League club I can understand but Spurs is taking the ****.

The people making these decisions can **** right off
We're not even selling to elite clubs anymore.

Won't be long before the likes of Cardiff and Stoke get Cork and Fonte.
Anywhere, but there!! This is starting to hurt now!
I bet some of you reprobates have heard or said that before :sneaky:

No no no, we keep being told that we only sell to top 4 champions league clubs
Spuds already owe us like £18m for Bale so add that to the price tag (at least).
:ROFLMAO: Oh no we don't

Well I'll be very interested to hear about the fee's for these 2...

I dread to think what Levy has done to our board.
No lube methinks.

Those Southampton fans do make me laugh. One 8th place finish in their whole premier league existence and suddenly Spurs are not good enough for their players. Oh fuck off you deluded bunch of pricks!!! Hope we buy them both now just so I can watch them go down.

and there's more

Can see it being cash plus player(s)
Yeah that's the way to build on success, trade your best players in for players not good enough for a club just above you in the league.
Wasn't a close run thing brah and interTim put some manners on you... Twice!
Schneiderlin and J Rod for Soldado, Dembele, Dawson, Paulinho plus £7m...
Spurs?! I was hoping Morgan would go to Arsenal. It makes far more sense for the player and he's exactly what arsenal need. He is far better than spurs.

Beyond that my main thought is how insulted must Clyne and Wanyama be?! Excellent players and no bids?!

Come on mate. Get a little perspective...surely you must be able to understand how enormously frustrated and gutted Southampton fans must be feeling. They had the nucleus of a side that could have indeed competed higher up the table this season with a bit more squad depth - only to see it get torn to pieces.

We nicked their manager, starting this whole process, and now might be taking off with their last two really valuable assets (well, they still have Clyne). Are we such a touchy bunch that we cant allow them to have what is a well deserved vent?

From RAWK:

"If I could have Rodgers get any player right now it'd be Bale, think Rodgers would turn him into an absolute monster, and he'd love his incredible pace and power"

For fuck sake :ROFLMAO:

"turn him into an absolute monster" as if he's some hidden gem. Not to mention the laughable notion that Bale would leave Real to join Liverpool.

So what do we think the combined fee will be for Jay & Morgan?

I'm going £35m.

30m plus some tat from their reserves like Harry Kane.

Im going for £30m, kyle naughton and Michael dawson (mp apparently does not rate him)

My money is on levy getting the better of this deal

^ This guy knows.

Despite being disappointed by all the sales, we have got very good prices for them. 25m for Morgan, 20m for Jay

Schneiderlin is top quality, more than anyone we had. He should be 25m minimum. If he went for that, I'd still be gutted.

Has to be over 40m for the pair, nearer 45 I'd hope. Not that it makes any difference!!

^ These two are in for a hell of a let down.

I'd bet that it's under £30m for both of them. Probably £18m for Schneiderlin and £6-8m for JRod.

Shows what Southampton fan's know, if they're prepared to swap Schneiderlin & JRod for players many of us are hoping to off load (or are at least prepared to consider offers for).
If you were trading with us, wouldn't you want our best players - Lloris, Vertonghen, Eriksen & Lennon :angelic:

This would make the total value of the deal about £10m which would be a bargain for us
