Not really sure why I'm doing it to myself (especially at the cost of doing my actual job) but I'm slowly working my way through every page.

A scarcity it may be but they do harbour at least one human being:
This is something that has always baffled me. I grew up going to AFL games here and support can border on tribal. But, opposition supporters don't feel the need to cave someones head in after the game.

There is no such thing as away sections. We all sit amongst each other.Sure there is shit throwing but mainly its supporting your team.

Just seems so wrong to want to beat someone up because of who they support.

Football attracts scum unfortunately.

No different to how obstruction is fine if you are shielding the ball out of play to how it is an automatic foul in the middle of the pitch.

Very dodgy analogy there. When shielding the ball out of play, the player is almost always within playing distance of the ball, so it is not an offence to put your body between the ball and an opponent, in middle of the park it is more often than not the case due to the speed players are going at, not within playing distance and therefore an offence.

City fan has posted a picture showing how atrocious Ederson's positioning was for Lamela's goal.

The reply?

"To be fair to the bloke, he'd probably nodded off."

If that was us winning the game 3-2, and the goal being rightly disallowed you wouldn't be hearing anywhere near the same level of uproar as you're hearing now that's happened to the glorious City.

They'd all be applauding VAR, saying thats what it's there for etc

Wolves had a goal disallowed the week before for an accidental hand being involved, yet the debate wasn't as high as this 1

Inject this shit in my veins :ROFLMAO:

And in the CL:

This may be me just being an old fart, but I don't get why anybody would want to film themselves (or be filmed) when they're watching a football match. Apparently this kid does it every game.

Weird.

Well this was a bigger match.

doesn't matter and because it resulted in the goal being disallowed.

before VAR teams have won leagues because of mistakes, teams have been relegated due to mistakes. if VAR produces the correct result then teams can only blame their own mistakes.

I'm still in shock the Aguero goal never went to VAR.

my own view is hand to ball accidental or not should be handball, that way there is no way to argue any decision. when I 1st started watching football that was the case

That's what they think, this generation of wannabe "influencers" are going to be in for a shock when they realise 99.9% of them will never make a living out of it.

Maybe, better than selling drugs though. He has had a moment of fame, everyone watching his vid.

No harm in it, good luck to the kid.

We live in a narcissistic society. Personally I can’t stand having a camera shoved in my face.

It’s not really the game

They are just taking out broader frustrations in their miserable lives

Football is just the excuse / the outlet - always has been

People just can't control their emotions.
