I thought United looked good - plenty of pace and energy, whilst AWB and Maguire made them much more solid defensively.

AWB really is a fantastic defender; hardly anything ever gets past him.

He was beaten a couple of times.

No doubt United are better but Wolves changed things and then got at them. They were shaking a bit and barely muster a good attack after that.

I think they'll look good at times but whenever they are up against a better tactician or a team who sit deep they'll encounter problems

Utd have bought well this summer but the Pogba conundrum and a real lack of a leader you feel is ultimately going to cost them in high stakes matches.

Neville losing his shit over this penalty thing :D.
I'm not watching, but I cant work out for the life of me why a player who scored a penalty last weekend wouldn't take one today.

Is that the gist of what he's saying?

This Man Utd penalty taker debate has given me pause for thought. I wish we had a cast-iron guaranteed candidate to take all of our penalties, but no names leap to mind when pondering: "who will take a penalty for us should we win one?" (Fuck you, of course it's Kane and I'm joking.)

It’s a puzzler for sure ;).

To be fair, when Kane was out we did have that situation with Son and Lamela a few years ago

For anyone who cares, I just checked. We play Wolves away after their final Europa League group game.

That may be a massive benefit for us.

Not if they've already qualified and heavily rotated...I can see them going quite far in the Arsenal League this year.

Pretty much, but way beyond that. Watching the lot of them debating it on the field. Compared it to anything from a Tombola to spin the bottle. At which point Carragher pointed out that spin the bottle involved kissing .

And of course the whole thing ended with Neville’s voice getting higher and higher in pitch the way that he does :D.
