They were discussing Bournemouth on the radio last night basically saying how they have invested all the PL money on the pitch. They are going down with the same stadium and a crappy training ground. They are leaving the league no better off than when they joined it.
Yes the more you read the worse it looks for them.

Norwich by contrast didn't spend a penny on players (almost literally) and have invested in a brand new training ground. Burnley did the same the first time they were up under Dyche and since returning have now become a stable PL side.

Bournemouth have very little going for them and if this talk of a fire sale to get wages off the books is real then we won't see them back in the foreseeable future.

Best thing they could do is cash in on the players people want and want to leave, get (I expect) 9 figures for it, do some infrastructure, keep Howe, try again with a young squad.

Just been said on the radio, one of the Woolwich games is being considered for a test-event to allow some fans to return...

Yeah, they won't sell that out either :D

The clubs have voted to go back to only three subs out of a bench of seven players for the new season, they’ve also decided to follow the fifa protocol on VAR. This should mean the refs using the monitors more often.

I think they should have allowed for 3 subs + one for injury if that injury happened in the first half (maybe before 40 minutes).

Most of the criticism is about Dyche being overlooked after finishing 10th. Lampard being listed is proof of the jobs for the boys culture in the top flight.

I don't really mind because I think that is about where they should end up. Midtable side for me.

After reading this, I’m thinking maybe the clubs don’t need us match day fans as much as I thought. Maybe my money should be going to Wycombe instead. ?
