wasnt a genuine attempt at a song more a comment on the post it replied to and a tongue in cheek dig at the amount of song attempts earlier in the thread

Felt like he didn’t move out of his first two gears whilst finding his feet, yet he purred like a Rolls Royce. Strange analogy, but he almost looked like a CM version of Ledley in stature, on the ball and the way he moved.

As previously mentioned, loved his non reaction to the goal - right we’re back to parity let’s just get on with it now and go and win the game

Games like City will suit him a lot more than those against the likes of Villa imo. He'll have a lot more room to strut his staff on the break, where his combination of ball retention when pressed and then his passing ability will be really important in transitioning quickly from defence to attack.

We have a bona fide world class player here.

I'll be surprised if Lo Celso doesn't get the same kind of accolades. The pair of them together will (IMHO) be a proper handful for any team. They both have a very high skill set as well as being highly press resistant. If we can get them to dovetail and enhance each other I think they will be nothing short of spectacular. If that doesn't jinx it nothing will.

I felt him and Eriksen really clicked together. Perhaps it was the change in formation, but when CE came on TN became a monster.

Really believe we will be something in attack, just hope have enough in defence

Bit of both really. The formation change gave the midfield a bit more space and freedom, and good players like Eriksen and Ndombele thrive on that.

The Eriksen part killed me and it is exactly what I thought when I watched the game. (Language NSFW)

Was sitting in a hotel bar in Marrakech sat evening, waiting for the game to start. Just me all on my own. French guy walks in, asks if this is the Spurs game, I tell him oui.

We start chatting in pidgin English/French, I ask if he’s a spurs fan, he says non(PSG are his team) but is really keen to watch this game as his best friend is playing, turns out him and Tanguy grew up together in Paris!

We were jumping around like loons when he scored. Happy days.

Why the fuck didn’t you put this in a sonnet, Rikki.

Disappointed

I love Dembele... Fave player of all time.

Ndombele has so many of his traits in terms of skill and dribbling and is really the perfect replacement. So much symmetry in their play.
