Snap. I’m sure I saw him play RB? Either way both sides of of the pitch could do with freshening but RB is a priority.

He has played at RB and LCB at times for Scotland, while Robertson is the first choice LB and captain, but his natural and preferred positions would be LB or LWB.

During the AFCON game the other night the commentator mentioned how he had 3 injuries last season thigh, groin and then hamstring. Bit of a write-off season really when you're injured that much. Would still rather sell Tripps if we are moving one on, he's older but would fetch more cash, and I still think Serge can become a solid RB for us.

To be fair to Serge, even if he did give away a penalty in the match before their first AFCON game it would have been his first action in months, and in a friendly to boot.

I thought he played incredibly well in the CL last season and showed more than enough to suggest that he would be a solid rotation option if he can remain fit for us. I'd certainly persist with him for another season considering all of the other business we need to get done this summer.

He done his hamstring in today’s game against Morocco, he came off and they lost 1-0

I think players like Lamela and Aurier live on the edge as far as physical fitness. They seem to focus a lot on extra fitness and gym work which has great advantages when fit but also creates more injuries. My opinion anyway.

He’s always injured. Really don’t think it’s going to work out at all and we should cut our losses ASAP.

He is definitely in the wrong team if can't cope with fitness issues.
We have one or two who will struggle with the Pochettino physicality stresses this coming season.
Time to ship out.

He won't be sold if he's injured, unfortunately.

This is the problem isn’t it?

I suspect Poch is furious with him for this hand injury and subsequent operation. It’s just so Aurier to do that though and his braindeadness is one reason why I’m surprised he’s still here.

Poch will be curious because (a) he can’t pick him for matches, I’m ok with that as I’d like KWP to get a run of games in the opening fixtures and (b) we won’t be able to sell him.
