If yesterdays match happened 6 months ago I'm 95% certain he'd have two-footed someone before we were even 0-3 down. I said after the Chelsea match he's a liability because you can't have your centre back being so prone to losing their head, really important for us that he's sorted himself out.

He used to do it under Conte, he'd get so pissed off with the rest of the team fannying about that he'd just take things into his own hands and head towards the oppo area.

Must've had Conte pulling his nylon out. 😁

Should be captain imo. Said it at the time that Sonny was too nice for the job.

Probably but I hope he would still act like a captain without the armband. Essentially being captain is more media work and more interviews which romero may not want/like

Wondering if it might be a good idea to test him out at RB against Chelsea and City and give him more freedom to attack, with Dragusin alongside VdV to give ourselves a bit more height defending set pieces.

I’m thinking CF - Scare the absolute shite out of them!

If Son played for any other top 6 clubs, they’d play to his strength instead of asking him to do things that was never part of his game.
Then maybe that's a problem for us, is Son too limited for where we want to go?
I love the bloke and love what he's given us but if he can't play CF or LW in this system, given he age, should we be thinking about moving him on?

I mean, we can't play to his strengths if it's to the detriment of the rest of the team.

I don't think height is our problem at set pieces. It's zonal marking and our players being rooted to the spot along with Vicario getting no help dealing with players that are just there to shove him about.

Also really starting to irritate me that Neville has a clear vendetta against Romero. Mentions his poor discipline every chance he gets despite Romero turning it around this season by and large.
Funny considering Neville and his mates Scholes and Keane all had poor discipline at times.
