That’s an interesting point.
Playing alongside Højbjerg as he does for the Danes - where he has consistently produced his best football for the last couple of years - could be just the tonic he needs.

Not at £300k per week, though!
He played yesterday. Tells you all you need to know about how far along this deal is progressing

Not sure it’s a great idea to bring him back, but we’ve certainly not replaced him and it’s costing us big time.

I’d love to sign him and the other 5 we signed in 2013 so we have Elvis and the Beatles. [googles Vlad Chiriches]

we have replaced him. But the replacement is constantly injured and the jury is still as to whether he’s as good.

Out for Brozo second game in a row now after doing really well. Giving him game time might've just been a sadistic, godawful transfer strategy.

He came on for 15 minutes in the cup against 10 men and scored a free kick (but not much else) and then played in a match where they had 70% of the possession and where the opposition wasn't even able to register a shot. I don't think he's really turned a corner or anything like that tbh. Brozovic is still the player that makes Inter tick, if Eriksen wants to play he has to get ahead of Barella (no chance) or Vidal (possible).

Thing is he doesn't work in the mezzala role, which they figured out, which is why they made him regista. I'm not saying for sure he's turned a corner, but in that one game, at least to me, he showed more hunger and creativity than he did the past two years. I know it was a high possession game against a promoted team, but still.

Eh, don't mind me, I'm just acting out cause nothing's going well in my little football world.

He played very well there though, and was a major reason for that sort of possession stat and the shots, he controlled the game, I think his future in Inter is there, I also think he has a tough job in his hands displacing Brozovic. He can't really replace Vidal because the balance isn't right.
