Gutted that we have ended interest. Was the one out of the 4 who had the right of ability + prem experience but I can understand that if he was the alternative to Lo Celso, you're talking loan vs permanent and 23 vs 27 so if that's the plan then I guess I won't set fire to any of the clubs staffs home this evening.

I never thought I'd say this on an internet forum of 99% men, but ... you guys obviously don't watch enough porn.
I'm not sure I want to know what that means, but is it a reference to the idea of this commercial?

The flip-flop in the Coutinho / Tottenham case is not a Brazilian decision. Explanation.

As revealed by the 10sport.com earlier in the day, Coutinho's record is stalling on Tottenham's side. But contrary to what can circulate in the English press in particular, it is not a decision of the Brazilian FC Barcelona. It's Tottenham that changed course, with the arrival of the Dybala folder on the top of the pile. The Spurs believe that the accumulation of both operations is too important to hold. For his part, Philippe Coutinho is strongly tempted by the project proposed by Tottenham. It's not dead but the priority is clearly on Dybala now.

Think it’s important for us to keep multiple deals alive to use as leverage against the other one. If we reach the point where, for example, Dybala knows he is our one chance at getting a deal across the line, he’s hardly going to be willing to negotiate on his agents fee etc.

If (bloody huge if) we signed these 2 along with GLC the Premier League may as well just cancel the season and hand us the trophy now

Don’t do it to yourself - 2 of 4 is plenty and will already be difficult enough to accomplish!

Not to mention there are other teams with good squads - title will be a dogfight no matter who we sign.

So long as there is another incoming after Sessegnon and Lo Celso, fine, we’ve actually strengthened even after allowing for Eriksen’s likely departure. Dybala would be number one for me, position, calibre and a guy with a point to prove if he’s being forced out of Juve.
Fernandes will likely be the obvious alternative, but that said, resurrecting a loan deal for Coutinho would make more sense, less initial outlay, and already knows the league.
