I can't see PSG being much of a draw for him in footballing terms. They are the ultimate 'next shiny thing' club who piss their League every season but fall apart in the CL. Maybe wishful thinking but I'd hope that Poch and our huge Argentinian connection would be a lot more mouth-watering and the prospect of playing in the League which produced all of the European finalists last season.

I agree up to a point but if his options are either stay at Juve where he's been told he's not wanted, or going to PSG on mega money then you couldn't really blame him for taking the money.

If Eriksen signs a new deal in the coming weeks I don't think we will return for him. If not maybe we sell Eriksen in Jan and go for Dybala after working on his image rights for a few months. Arsenal still got a good deal for Sanchez with 6 months on his contract.

I don’t think he will move mid season nor will we be looking to do business then necessarily. As we have said with the contract situation and ages of some of our senior players I think next summer may be an even bigger window than this one when you imagine we will be in the market for at least one centre back, perhaps
A full back, an attacking midfider and perhaps a striker. If that is the case and CE has departed by then Dybala ticks a lot of boxes for me.

As Madrid are in the running to, if Barca do get Neymar then we need Madrid to really push the Pogba move, if they do then Eriksen will almost definitely be here in September. Unfortunately I think PSG will go for Dybala and get him

Sarri May leave him out of their CL squad! Surely not!? But it would leave the door open for us to go back in for him in January IF he remains in Turin until then.. Perhaps Levy is playing another different game, like he has done with Lo Celso.

That would be some good news IF we can backdoor our way into solving the image rights and go back in for him in January. But the image rights need to be solved. We left it too late this time. If we had another week or so, perhaps we might have been able to get it done. Alas, we agreed a transfer fee, agent fee and wages only to get done by image rights.

CL rules has changed, even if he will be registered for Juve in CL and we will buy him in January he can also be registered for us.

There's every chance we pinky swore with Juve that we'd buy him in January. I guess we'll see, if he's still a Juve player at the end of their window.

I just see it like this if he's at there at the end of the window he's ours - if not, obviously not.

Let's be honest... He was sitting in the dark in his Turin villa under a cover with some gelato tearing up watching us play...

That’s because it was United who’s transfer policy in the Jose Edwards days was Spend Spend Spend.

If we sell Eriksen, I see no reason why we can't do a deal for Dybala, with him joining in January.

I think we should just forget about this. We’ll never know how close it was or whether it was always doomed to failure due to these image rights.

I still feel that if Utd couldn’t sort it out then not sure what hope we had. I don’t buy the stuff about Dybala refusing to go there. He may have preferred us given the choice, but if everything could have been sorted out I’m sure he would have gone there.

It’s clear he was happy at Juve and is being forced out. There is even talk he may be left out of their CL squad. That’s not to say once he’d had the opportunity to come to us he didn’t want to, but I very much doubt he’s going to sit around and stall his career for 6 months while he patiently waits for his dream move to Spurs.

The deal could be properly completed (contracts signed etc) whenever, it's just his registration can't be transferred to us before January.
