Adebayor is very talented for one season where he is chasing a new deal. Even at 35 I reckon they will get at least 15-20 goals out of him but once he has secured his new deal he will just disappear into the background.

Did he even score for palace as a younger, hungrier player?

We will see. He was never hungry unless he thinks there is some more cash for him and then he is a different player. I suspect he will surprise people if he thinks he might get one last contract out of it otherwise he will just disappear into the background.

Think Sheringham did it in 2015 for Utd. Probably others too but not may I suspect.

I was bored so I've just been looking at this. Apparently Teddy was 34 the season that he scored 16 goals. Zlatan managed to get 17 when he was 35. Zola got 14 when he was 36.

I heard from a West Ham friend last night that if VAR was in last season West Ham would have finished 3rd! My brother said he seen this as well. Anyone else heard of it?

Would love to know the details behind this ???

VAR works both ways... This against Fulham changed the game..
.
Javier Hernandez's controversial goal with his arm contributed to Fulham's 18th Premier League defeat of the season as West Ham fought back from behind to win at London Stadium.

On initial viewing, it looked like Hernandez had headed in from a yard to punish goalkeeper Sergio Rico's mistake, but a replay from behind the goal clearly showed the Mexican striker converting via his arm.

Hernandez's equaliser was followed by Issa Diop's towering header five minutes before half-time and Michail Antonio nodded in a third late on

My West Ham mate described Fredericks and Cresswell as being "world class championship players" during the game. I told him it was the most creative way of calling them lower league players that I'd heard
