I'd be chuffed to bits if we made CL but at this moment in time I genuinely think that Europa League is a better level for us. It's less intense than CL and expectations would be kept in check as we continue the process of rebuilding. We won't be trying to attract the sort of megastars who would be demanding CL but instead will be trying for the sort of players who will give everything to the club regardless of what competitions we're in. Ange has also said that the process is more important than instant success, so I can get behind that.
While I agree wholeheartedly on that side the worst part for me during our previous Europa league seasons was the constant Thurs/Sun or Thurs/Mon schedule.

Constantly feels like we're not part of the football weekend, not talked about as much on podcasts or MOTD.

That is a downside for sure.

Pigs may fly but if we beat Chavski tonight do we think ‘there’s a chance’ of 4th if so?

I feel like it’s a must win tonight regardless and also we owe them a mauling for the luck they got in the reverse fixture.

I feel like we're getting the square root of fuck all from any of our remaining matches (including probably-relegated Burnley and already-relegated Sheffield United). I was actually pretty heartened after that second half against Arsenal but fucking hell, I just don't see where the goals or the points or any of it is coming from.

Good bye season.

Absolutely fucking done.

Refuse to watch them now, absolute no shows.

Will follow results but tonight is the last straw.

Fingers crossed for 5th, no seriously I cannot see it at all, let alone 4th.

I should add to this, I know where 3 of the points are coming from and that'll be against City. Somehow.

I get the awful sense that we'll lose to Liverpool and Burnley, beat City to help Arsenal win the league and top that off with a weak performance and loss versus already relegated Sheffield to end our season.

fucking hell.

Really??

Yes it was bad but these players can still turn it on at times and that's usually enough to beat the likes of Burnley and Sheff Utd.

People said the same last season and we smashed Leeds 4-1 at Elland Road

I can’t see us winning another game mate, the players have given up, phoned it in.
We look so far off it it’s unreal.
To me we’re relying on the teams below us to drop points to not catch us.
