    It's a good idea but the main element is that you don't need to stop the game for this. Let play continue and it only gets called back if all three hit green. Then show the incident and decision on the big screens so everybody can see why play has been pulled back. Also scrap the pitch-side...

    I've not seen anything over the past two seasons to suggest he is capable of being a good option. Hold up play is poor, linking play is poor, finishing is poor, aerial ability is ok (but he rarely gets into position for this to be a threat). He doesn't make runs off the ball to create space...

    While I agree wholeheartedly on that side the worst part for me during our previous Europa league seasons was the constant Thurs/Sun or Thurs/Mon schedule. Constantly feels like we're not part of the football weekend, not talked about as much on podcasts or MOTD.

    I can't think of anything worse... A 39yr old who refuses to play second fiddle to anybody moving to a high intensity league. Would see him arguing about penalty duties and wanting to be the centre of attention.
