Realistic lol no one is suggesting we should start all academy players. People are annoyed that our manager keeps playing fringe players that do not have a future with us like Gil instead of bright prospects like Donley.

they would probably have a random 5-minute cameo in some games unlike Foden/Palmer who are starters. there is significant difference between them. I rather give the chance to them instead of signing someone that we would probably struggle to shift in a few years.

if we are going to sign a striker it has to be someone that can bring us to a higher level (like Lautaro, Osimhen), and I don't think Gimenez is. We have many prospects already (Veliz, Lankshear, Scarlett, JSP)
There are only 4 club trained senior players (i.e. above 21) now, Skipp, Whiteman, Austin and Parrott. As Parrott is likely to leave in summer, we may need to register an U21 for European competition or we will need to find one in the market. Sadly there aren't many Spurs graduates playing at...
