Player Watch Player Watch: Giovani Lo Celso

Ange spoke highly of being brave. Well. Being brave now would be to pick a midfield three of Gio, Madders, and Bentancur for the remaining games. I mean, if he thinks that is gonna be defensively weak, how much weaker is it than the past few matches? Beino brave and all out attack, is having the...

Player Watch Player Watch: Giovani Lo Celso

Yeah I get that, and like I said, those players aren’t comparable. But, in our team, who is currently performing as the best player in the squad? I’d argue that is Gio when he gets minutes. Especially in the areas he’s meant to be performing, he’s outdoing everyone. So play him.

Player Watch Player Watch: Giovani Lo Celso

If there are any truths to his training rumours, I’m still left wondering why he wouldn’t be starting. Not that these players are comparable, but how well did Maradonna, Gazza etc train? But they still showed up when it mattered. I guess my point is, if you still out perform everyone else on the...

I’m not overly confident, we’ve not been the same team since Forster got injured.

Has it been noted anywhere what was being said when Ange was raging, and who was he raging at? Seemed like a few of them.

Yeah, to be fair, I thought he was a couple of years younger than he is.

Paulinha. After last night, I think we need to go balls deep for him.

    Manager Watch: Ange Postecoglou

Hoddle Jol Ramos Redknapp Villas Boas Poch Mourinho Conte And now Ange, to name just the ones I can remember. That’s a good, very good, list of managers. So what is the underlying weakness? We dont have any of the same players for all those years. Who sets the tone of this club? Why are we so meek?

Player Watch Player Watch: Timo Werner

Yeah, but he’s not playing in an all out attacking side like ours, like I said, if we could swap them?

And shoot, and win the ball in the air. How much would he cost though? And would he come?

You make your own luck. We need to stop be naive, and force issues for others, as they do for us.

We need a Scott Parker/Wanyama clone, is this the guy? I don’t know much about him.

Player Watch Player Watch: Guglielmo Vicario

I’d use Porro’s fighting spirit for him to be our man on the opposite keeper, and also to get the guy off of Vic at our end. Give him that job and I think he’d love it. We’re not then losing Romero’s aerial power in the centre at both ends.

I dunno, maybe go with this, try and get some fluidity for the season and the midfield clicking?:

Player Watch Player Watch: Guglielmo Vicario

What really annoys me about these corner situations, is why don’t we act the same when we get a corner? We’re so nice and timid and trying to be fair, but no one else is. Also, our delivery from corners has been awful for years, whereas other teams can put it right under the bar and cause havoc...

Player Watch Player Watch: Timo Werner

The fact that so many of us are on the fence about him, suggests he’s not quite what we need. But, to all of those ‘yea buy him, he did well’ people, yes he did at times do well, but imagine someone with more about them getting those chances. We’d probably have nailed top 4 a while back. Small...

Player Watch Player Watch: Cristian Romero

Didn’t Romero play centre in a back three for Atalanta? And within that role he would be aggressive and move forward in the midfield? Maybe that’s an interesting option with Dragusin and VdV staying back? It would still leave us with a hole for LWB or whatever position that then would evolve in to.
