Very true mate and yes agree odd bump by whoever did that, I just piggybacked on it just like Levy would do when he sees a tip jar falling to the floorhaha, what a weird bump.
I think it properly started going tits before that and it was called at the time, i'm not entirely sure hindsight has much to do with it.
Having said that, what a very very strange bump.
If and when things go bad again, I guess there will be someone equally bitter amongst us anti-Levyites ready to step up
I see both the truth and also sarcasm in this post - well done!Haven't you realised football is a business now and excellent EBITDA figures are as important as winning the league
You don't think the two are interconnected? If the business side runs well, that means there'll be more money to spend? The business side seems to be running really well so that is the main thing. Hopefully we can get funding for that hotel to drive revenue up even further.
You don't think the two are interconnected? If the business side runs well, that means there'll be more money to spend?
Yeah, all the money will be funnelled into the team.It genuinely baffles how fans don't see this. They seem to think the events, skywalk, F1 track etc.. profit all go into Levy's personal bank account. The facts are ENIC don't take a penny out of the club and have continually stated how all additional revenues will be funnelled into improving the team.
Even though there’s no evidence that money was the reason, but rather because Poch didn’t want the targets the club were persuing .Yeah, all the money will be funnelled into the team.
Just like when Levy repeatedly said that then"stadium costs will not effect our transfer spending".
And then we didn't sign a single player for a year.
You really think that Pochettino was the one that decided on signing zero players?Even though there’s no evidence that money was the reason, but rather because Poch didn’t want the targets the club were persuing .
That’s a failure certainly, but a different type of failure from what you’re suggesting.
There is little doubt that we are stronger financially as a result of the stadium rebuild, and are spending commensurately.
Are there are other issues that need to be dealt with? Certainly . Is Levy perfect? Certainly
But let’s not imagine up the reasons why we’re not top of the league.
You really think that Pochettino was the one that decided on signing zero players?
Next you'll tell me it was really Poch that wanted to sell Walker just before that.
Edit: it was also the same timeframe where we "tried" to sign jack grealish for two pints and a packet of crisps.
Yeah, all the money will be funnelled into the team.

Walker has said in multiple interviews that he didn't want to leave Tottenham and "the club" told him that he had to go.Yes, Grealish was a cock-up that we could all see.
Walker was one that I regret but he wanted to go and the price was good; it happens.
But Poch himself has said that he didn’t want the players that were available.
And he (Levy) had missed out on plenty of other transfer targets through pushing too hard and/or waiting for the cave-in that never happens while someone else nicks in and nabs the player.
Like I said, Levy’s very far from perfect, especially with transfers, but not everything that’s not worked out is because of not being able or willing to spend money.
I’d like him to walk away from transfers altogether, and just make it clear to whoever is in charge of them, together with the manager, to get on with it.
Will that happen? It doesn’t seem likely. And that’s one of my biggest criticisms of him.
But I don’t believe he simply chose not to buy anyone for two whole transfer windows.
TLDR;
It was a balls-up, not a decision.
Mate, if Levy overruled Conte and signed Spence, do you really think that he wouldn't have overriden the club man that Poch was?Do you think we didn't buy a single player because we had no money or was it because Poch only wanted Frenkie De Jong and wouldn't accept alternatives?
Also if you don't believe the additional revenues (we've already seen increased transfer spend since the stadium has been open btw) will be used for transfers/wages etc... where do you think they will go? Genuine question.
You think we’ll have a half hearted summer coming up?Levy didn’t match Poch’s ambitions, then hired two winner managers without intending to match theirs either.
As for the search that led to Nuno, appointing Stellini, absolutely laughable.
you didn’t need hindsight to predict that, or that HK would finally give up on our project
Another half hearted summer follows where gaps are left in the squad far from able to compete on one front let alone hopefully four
All for 6m a year, twice what any of his peers earn!
You think we’ll have a half hearted summer coming up?
Leave gaps in the squad?
I’m quite excited for the summer window personally and looking forward to what Lange/Paratici/Ange do to improve us.
Also with our new data approach.
Has he?Walker has said in multiple interviews that he didn't want to leave Tottenham and "the club" told him that he had to go.
Which goes to show how much shite is spouted as fact, especially in this thread. What Poch said in his book.
"Walker came to my office after the Watford game," it's noted. "'Gaffer, I've been at Tottenham for nine years. I've thought about it and my heart isn't here any more. Nor is my head. I've given all I have to give. I wanted to tell you before I tell my agent that I want to leave this summer.'"
Pochettino added that he felt as though Walker had shown "an alarming lack of respect for his team-mates and a slap in the face for the club" by asking for a move while the team was competing with Chelsea for top spot.
