    Premier League 2023/2024

That is the reason that VAR is so poor - if the ref had not called that as a pen then the VAR would not have overruled him (as it was a blatant dive).........but, because the ref called it the VAR will not counter him.

    Match Threads Spurs vs Arsenal

Well, these stats I found on an arsenal website really don't support the MotD2 narrative aboiut arsenal dominating for 60 minutes!!!

    Match Threads Spurs vs Arsenal

Just caught up with MotD 2......."Arsenal were dominant for 60 minutes".........I may have my rose tints on, but did I miss something? I thought we dominated the match in every way except the scoreline! 3-0 at half time was incredibly flattering to them.......the only thing I thought MotD2 got...

    Spurs Youth Thread 23/24

Anyone know if there are any promo codes for Spursplay? If I'd known they were going to be televising all our youth matches then I would have signed up at the start of the season!

    Eberechi Eze

I think we were put off by some of the clauses and conditions that QPR were trying to build into any deal........whatever the final reason, I think he has developed better as a result of his time at Palace than he would have with all the pressure of playing for Spurs at a young age.

    Eberechi Eze

We tried to sign Eze when he left QPR, so not as if we were blind to him as a prospect.

    Financial Fair Play (general thread)

Nope, you'd still effectively have the amortisation charge........ It's just that it would be badged as either a £12m loss on player sales or a £12m impairment charge or £12m write off...... Depending how it was structured.

    Financial Fair Play (general thread)

It depends........he has 1 year left on his contract and an amortised book value of ~£12m with ~£8m/year in wages if we retain him then we would take the £12m amortisation charge plus about £8m expenditure in wages. if we loan him out we would still get the £12m amortisation charge, but we...

We should get Fred Perry to do our kits - classic and classy!

Let's All Laugh At... Let's all laugh at Chelsea thread

It's weird for me, as arsenal will always be our biggest rivalry, and yet I would never want them to dissolve into oblivion.......chelsea, on the other hand, I would quite happily piss on their corporate grave stone!

    Arsenal

That is crazy talk - the only possible metric I can find in which they exceed Bayern is in number of twatter followers (and that's besides lagging miles behind in every other social media platform.......and we all know the sort of plebian reprobate that twatter attracts).

Spurs finances report 22/23 (swissramble writeup)

It's worth contextualising this against the competition. Not many PL clubs have anywhere near the leeway that we have, and most are in a somewhat awkward predicament that will entail them selling off assets in the final few weeks of this coming June........in that context, a stable position has...

Spurs finances report 22/23 (swissramble writeup)

I'll try to be brief and simple - hold the cheeky comments :cautious: :shifty: :D You're on the right lines, but not exactly - the P&S tables are notoriously difficult to lay in a manner that's comprehendable. What it is saying is that (purely for P&S purposes) we have a profit of £103m...
