I'm lost. So when is VAR allowed to step in now? Clear and obvious error, ref you didn't see it properly come look? Again if so then the Silva incident needed showing to the ref.

Either way this match has been very very poorly officiated.

Agreed, It wasnt a red at all. Yellow all round seemed fair.Not sure why the ref gave a red though before looking, unless it was to do with the process of giving a red in order to VAR it.

What the actual fuck is going on? Two strikes to a Spurs' players face from Thiago and Ziyech and no red cards? I know it feels redundant to say, but the EPL refs are either incompetent or corrupt. Absolutely rediculous.
