No Italian papers are far, far worse than anything. No one is reliable.Italian and English papers are on a par for transfer gossip, I think. Spanish papers are worse, of course.
I HATE late moves. It wastes the month, it wastes time to bed in a player. If you are going to sign someone late, you might as well loan them back to their club so they can keep playing.https://www.standard.co.uk/sport/fo...w-the-likely-signings-and-exits-a4028806.html
A late move for an established central midfielder and centre-half is likely, with Genk’s Sander Berge an option.

Italian papers saying Roma are looking to bid this month. Although most Italian papers seem even less reliable than English ones
There’s been some discussions here about his tempo. He looks fairly slow, but his test results show he’s quite quick. Genks fastest player, in fact. The link under is in norwegian, but the graphics should be understandable in english as well. 4,7 sec in 40 meters (comparable to John Carews test results in his prime, and Carew certainly wasn’t slow...), 2,6 sec in 20 meters and 1,45 sec in 10 meters. And the best results in the Genk squad when it comes to agility as well.

Another interesting factor is that he’s taken the next level at every corner so far in his career. He came from the norwegian third level and dominated the top division right away at the age of 17. Then he went to Belgium and ended up as one of their better players more or less right away. And even though the norwegian national team is a joke, he did the same there as well.
Yeah Berge replaced Ndidi, who's doing pretty well at Leicester.Plus it seems that Genk seem to have an eye for a player. Leon Bailey was there for a time and Berge was the 6'4 midfielder they brought in to replace a 6'4 midfielder they sold who was handy enough too.

Well that’s just a wallop of piss titties, thenJJ saying he's not an option in jan.

Chin up. It’ll happen. We just need Llorente, Janssen, GNK and Dembélé to run down their contracts and we’re back in business. We are not signing anyone. Ever again.

Exactly this. He looks useful and not being linked to other players of his ilk worries me too.Probably ties in with all the ITK prior to this that the 'supposed' view is young and English with the option to loan them back until the summer. Berge is a pipe dream.
The lines of 'more home grown' talent haven't gone away and the fact we're still stuck with so much dross hasn't either.
Considering people barely fucking knew who this guy was until his name came up latter part of last summer it's not big loss, it's more the fact there aren't more links like it.
He comes in that category of a player with talent that could become ...
Roma will probably buy him now.
Yeah, I have an uneasy feeling about how this is all going tbh.Exactly this. He looks useful and not being linked to other players of his ilk worries me too.
Your last comment is a gut wrencher; he ends up at another club, thrives and it becomes another ‘if only’ story....
